From Scotland’s wild and remote west coast, the Ardnamurchan Distillery has built a cult following for its rugged, honest, and flavour-packed spirit. We’re thrilled to present Octave #1442, a single cask chosen personally by Eddie, who couldn’t resist the way this whisky balanced Ardnamurchan’s trademark maritime smokiness with a bright, fruity charm.

This whisky was laid down in 2018, then given an extra punch of character in a small bourbon octave – a cask that intensifies flavour and texture thanks to its greater oak contact. The result is a dram that sings with energy and depth.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Freshly zested lemon peel, sea spray, and vanilla fudge, with a whisper of woodsmoke curling through.

• Palate: Juicy orchard fruits and honeycomb sweetness meet a salty, coastal tang. Layers of charred oak, toasted coconut, and gentle peat weave in beautifully.

• Finish: Long, warming, and slightly briny, with vanilla cream and lingering embers.
